What are the photo announcements printed on?
The announcements are professionally printed on high quality matte Kodak photo paper. If you prefer glossy, just let us know.
What photo file formats do you accept?
We can work with your .jpg, jpeg, .tif, .tiff, .png or .gif. Please make sure photos are at least 300 dpi (resolution 600 x 840). If you're not sure, just send it through and we'll let you know if it will work or not.
The baby photo I want to use is full color, but I want it black and white for the announcement - what do I do?
No problem! Just let us know in the email that you want it black and white and we'll do that for you for free.
I really like one of the designs, but I'd prefer a different font or background color.
We want the birth announcement you send out to be exactly what you want. Just let us know what you'd like to see different about it, and we'll whiz it up for you!
I want to get ahead of the game - can you ship my envelopes now so I can address them before my baby arrives?
Absolutely! Just place your order via Paypal and let us know you'd like envelopes now and cards later - we'll get them right out.
Does my baby's photo have to be professionally taken?
No way! We love photographers and their great shots, but we also think shots taken by you (or someone else who is close to the family) in the comfort of the home, at whatever time of day that the baby is feeling photogenic can often produce the best results.
Why can't I see an instant preview of my baby's photo and information on the website?
We want your announcement to be perfect - a professional graphic designer is going to do a much better job than an automated software program. Once you send us your photo and info, we will guarantee to get a proof to you within 24hrs.
I'd like to print one of the Baby Got Sass designs at home, or at my local photo processing store - can I just buy the design?
Sure - you'll see 'Design Only $35' on the PayPal dropdown menu. Just select that and then email us your photo/info, and we'll email you back a print-ready file.
How long will the process take?
We will get a proof to you within 24 hrs. Once you approve the proof for print, you can expect to receive your prints and envelopes in 6-8 business days.
